Paul Foster, of 6 Crestshire Drive, told police the shed was broken into between 5 and 7 a.m. 

He said that when his wife left for work, she noticed two bicycles had been left in the driveway, which did not belong to their family. 


Taken from the utility shed were a lawn mower, electric hedge trimmer, gas-powered string trimmer, a bicycle, and a gas-powered go-cart.

Figures obtained under the Freedom of Information Act show that a total of 121 officers - or seven per cent of the force's total - have registered business interests or secondary earnings. 


Mark Wallace, The Taxpayers' Alliance's Campaigns Chairman, said he was opposed to a total ban on police doing outside work, but was concerned about officers being tired after working on rest days.

Bonds totaled $50,000.

Sergeant Liczbinski was killed last year, responding to an armed robbery call in Port Richmond.
